Authorities in Arkansas contacted Sioux Falls Police, in October, because they believed Christian Kezar, 24, was communicating with a young girl on Snapchat.
Police say the investigation also uncovered child pornography from a second victim.According to court documents, Kezar's victims keep getting younger. Here's a look at his history.
We first told you about Christian Kezar in 2019. A 16-year-old girl was in a fender bender outside the Midco Aquatics Center in Sioux Falls, and police say Kezar impersonated an off-duty officer and gave the girl a ride to a relative's house.
She got out of his car and called 9-1-1.
"The way he was talking, she said the way he was driving, he was kinda all over the road and honking and yelling at people. There's was just a lot of things that I think after he left that just didn't quite add up," said SFPD information officer Sam Clemens in 2019.
Two years later, the impersonation charge was dismissed.
A 2022 arrest landed Kezar on the South Dakota Sex Offender Registry.
He was convicted of two counts of making and possessing child pornography last summer. The website lists the victim as a 15-year-old girl.
Just three months after the conviction, Kezar was released on parole.
Tonight, he's back behind bars, charged with possession of child pornography, solicitation of a minor and other charges. Court documents say this time, one of the alleged victims was 12 years old.
