ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Canisteo man was arrested on drug and weapon charges near an elementary school. On Wednesday, New York State Police were called to help detain a suspicious man near Canisteo Greenwood Elementary School. It was alleged that Harley Marble, 30, was riding an unregistered, off-road motorcycle near the school without a helmet and then tried to hide the bike on school grounds. After detaining Marble, troopers said they found suspected cocaine and a flare gun modified to fire 12-gauge shotgun shells. Marble was charged with second-degree criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon on school grounds, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Steuben County Jail for arraignment.
