FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The family of a missing Fresno woman, believed to have been killed after she was last seen over a year ago, will be joined by the members of the Fresno County DA's office and the Fresno Police Department in response to murder charges being filed by the Fresno County District Attorney. The DA says it is alleged that on or about Sept. 1, 2023, 37-year-old Christopher Edward Stephens murdered 26-year-old Micaela Faith Navarro. DA: Men charged in death of missing Fresno woman Prosecutors state that Stephens buried Navarro's body somewhere in Fresno County with the assistance of 29-year-old Ryan Randall Sutter.
