Atwater police chief retires after 37 years in law enforcement

ATWATER, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Police Chief Michael Salvador of the City of Atwater signed off for the final time on Wednesday.
Salvador served a total of 37 years in law enforcement, serving with various agencies including the Chowchilla Police Department, Madera County Sheriff’s Office, and Coalinga Police Department, and concluding his career at the Atwater Police Department.
“Thank you for six wonderful years,” said Salvador.
“We would like to take the time to say thank you for the last six years as our Chief and we wish you a happy retirement. Congratulations Chief Michael Salvador,” said the city.
