SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- After a foggy start to the day at the coast, many areas are getting clearer conditions, but the low clouds will impact visibility again late Thursday into Friday. Foggy weather will mainly impact South Bay into parts of downtown which could lead to flight delays for yet another day.  As we head into the weekend, high pressure will subside which will allow for the return of the marine layer along the coast extending a little farther inland each evening and morning. Fog should be less of an issue this weekend. Heading into rainy season, San Diego urging residents to prep for potential floods A cooling trend progresses into Saturday and Sunday as a storm system hits well north of us. The trough isn't expected to sag far enough our way to bring any rain chances but we can expect some high clouds in the afternoon and cooler afternoon temperatures. Friday daytime highs at the coast will to out in the mid-60s, with mid-70s for inland valleys, low 70s for mountains and low 80s for deserts.  As we look ahead to Christmas Eve next Tuesday, rain chances are slowly shaping up for some light rain from the beaches to the mountains sometime in the afternoon through the evening. That quick moving area of low pressure will also bring breezier westerly winds with it for early next week.  So far, Christmas Day looks to stay dry with temperatures in the low 60s for the coast and mountains, upper 60s for inland areas and low 70s for the deserts.
