WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- Goodwill Industries opened its newest store in Wichita on Thursday morning. The organization bought the old DAV store at Central and Edgemoor, renovated it, and turned it into a Goodwill thrift store. After a ribbon cutting to mark the occasion, shoppers streamed into the store, looking for good deals. "There's many items that are gently used, and a lot of people are concerned about the sustainability and keeping things out of the landfill, so it's another great opportunity." A Goodwill worker will come out and help you take your items inside. GoodwillKS.org shows its other locations in Kansas and lists what items are accepted and which ones the store cannot take.
