Police responded to the shooting around 6:30 a.m. at 516 Hermosa Dr., SE. Morres, was found in the driver’s seat of a silver Toyota vehicle and had a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to the hospital, but he died as a result of his injuries two days later.
Homicide detectives determined through investigation that Morres knew Silas and Villalba and detectives believe that Villalba and Silas were upset with Morres for betraying them.
The two women were previously indicted in January 2024 in Arizona for trafficking drugs, police said.
