RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond residents may have issues calling 911 due to a nationwide outage on Thursday.
At around 3:40 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, the city reported that Richmond's 911 center was impacted by a nationwide outage.
Callers who are experiencing an emergency and are having issues reaching 911 should call 804-646-5100 and use option one.
The city said updates about the outage will be provided as more information becomes available.
