Picayune man dies in Pearl River County crash: Mississippi officials

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WGNO) — A man is dead after a crash on a Mississippi interstate.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, around 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, troopers responded to the crash scene on Interstate 59 in Pearl River County.
Double homicide suspect sought by New Orleans police
An investigation revealed that 66-year-old Nathan Boone was headed north on the interstate in a Chevy Camero just as 74-year-old William Baker was headed south in a Volvo semi-truck.
Troopers reported Boone crossed over the median colliding with Baker.
Boone suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. Troopers did not say if Baker was injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
