(WFRV) - Police near the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota are urging residents to be aware of fake money that is making its way around. According to the Rochester Police Department in Minnesota, there are fake $100 bills circulating, and they resemble real money, but are marked as movie prop money and labeled as 'for motion picture purposes.' Second graders at Elmore Elementary receive gifts from inmates at Green Bay Correctional Institute Real money should have a watermark that's visible when held to light, and ink in the bottom right corner that changes colors from copper to green. Rochester Police Department- Facebook So far, officers have found stacks of these bills that would add up to roughly $45,000. Anybody who finds counterfeit money is urged to call the police.
