Wisconsin man dead after headon crash on U.S. Highway 19

SPRINGFIELD, Wis. (WFRV) — One person is dead following a head-on collision on a snow-covered and slippery U.S. Highway 19.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to the crash shortly before 12:45 p.m. near Barman Road. A 55-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 51-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
