BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- An installation ceremony was held Wednesday to welcome two new council members who were elected in November. Ward 5 representative Larry Koman and Ward 6 rep. Zach Bashirtash were recognized and sworn in last night. Zack Scrivner asks to pay zero child support Andrae Gonzales, who was re-elected last month, was also recognized. The three men will serve four-year terms that expire in Nov. 2029. The city also honored outgoing council members Bruce Freeman and Patty Gray.
