FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Thursday Night,
It has been a gray day with temps below normal in the middle to upper 30s. Clouds will be the rule this evening with temps falling to the lower 30s only overnight. Closer to daybreak, we will have some snow showers starting to fall in the area. As the low associated with these snow showers works its way south to the west of us, we will have some cold rain showers mixing in by late morning to the afternoon. In total snowfall totals will be very light, from no accumulations in spots, to under a half inch in many area.
The highest snowfall totals will be in the west where closer to I-75 and west, we could have a few totals an inch or higher. Highs on Friday will be similar to today, in the mid to upper 30s. Saturday colder air will settle in with clearing skies. Temps will struggle to near 30 on Saturday. We will have numbers in the 20s during the Buckeyes games, with chills in the teens.
Sunday another brisk day is expected with highs around 30 under mainly sunny skies. We will start a warming pattern next week, with above normal temps expected most of the week. Highs on Monday will be near 40 with increasing clouds. We will see rain showers on Tuesday with highs in the lower 40s. For Christmas Wednesday, expect scattered rain showers, and highs in the middle 40s. We will climb to near 50 on Thursday under mainly cloudy skies.
