Lake County YMCA ‘2025 Dream House’ holiday ticket presale now open
Dec 19, 2024
The Lake County YMCA is kicking off its “2025 Dream House Project,” marking the 28th year of the popular community tradition.
According to officials, the new Dream House will be built in Mentor, with additional details to be unveiled early next year.
Along with the house, the organization will also give away a new car donated by the Chevy Network of Dealers and Classic Chevrolet in Mentor.
Proceeds from the project, officials noted, directly support YMCA programs that strengthen the Lake County community, from youth development and family support to health and wellness initiatives.
Additionally, funds raised make a meaningful impact while ensuring that no one is ever turned away from the Y due to an inability to pay.
“This project embodies our mission of building stronger communities,” said Kelly Penzenik, director of marketing and communications at the Y.
“Every ticket purchased helps us provide vital programs and services to individuals and families across Lake County,” she added. “It’s a unique opportunity to make a difference while dreaming big.”
Tickets are now available at a presale price starting at just $10, with a variety of packages to suit every budget, Penzenik continued, noting that the Dream House will be open for public tours in late June/early July.
“This project is made possible through the many, many partners and donors,” she said, “and we are so appreciative of the Chevy Network and Classic Chevrolet in Mentor for their continued support in this fundraiser.
“They believe in our mission and how we use these funds to build a better community together.”
Officials confirmed that final drawings for the house and the car will be announced in August.
