Botanic Garden's annual holiday display enchants visitors with festive flora, landmarks

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The holidays are in full bloom at the U.S. Botanic Garden with the return of its annual holiday display "Season's Greetings."
Devin Dotson, Senior Communications Specialist at US Botanic Garden, said the display has become a staple for people to visit.

"We typically bring through a quarter of a million people for the holiday display," said Devin Dotson.
While at the Botanic Garden, Dotson said visitors will get to see thousands of beautiful flowers and unique plants including 21 Washington, D.C. landmarks made from plant parts.
"There is the really massive US Capitol building, the Washington Monument, we also have the Lincoln Memorial and the MLK Memorial," said Dotson.

Dotson said the display is a fun way to see the things you know about the nation's capital and get to look at them with a new eye.
He told DC News Now that a fan favorite is back.
'The model train show is up and running, people love it. Kids from all ages from 2 to 102 get excited about it,' shared Dotson.
"Season's Greetings" runs through Jan. 5.
