KING WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A driver has been charged following a two-vehicle crash involving a West Point School Board bus in the town of West Point in King William County on Wednesday morning. According to the West Point Police Department, at around 7:23 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, a two-vehicle crash involving a West Point School Board bus occurred near Glass Island Road. Police said the bus was stopped while making a turn on the road and was not loading or unloading passengers when a second vehicle hit the bus from the back. According to authorities, 46 children were on the bus at the time of the crash, and a child was transported to the hospital as a precaution for their injuries. Police said the child has since been released from the hospital.
