FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Cars lined up downtown await their free ham or turkey from the Wayne Township Trustee Austin Knox on Thursday. Beginning at noon, the trustee's office is giving away over 300 hams and turkeys to community members by drive-thru or by walk-up. Organizers say cars have been lined up to receive the food since 7 a.m. Community members may receive the goods at the Northwest corner of Fourth Street and Clinton Street. Each household gets one ham or turkey. The giveaway will run until supplies last.
