Alamo Annie’s Homestyle Eatery, in Brownsdale, which specialized in homestyle meals and truly huge cinnamon rolls is closing its doors. Today, Dec. 19, is the last day of the business according to a post on the business’s Facebook post on Wednesday. “Today and tomorrow, December 19th, will be the last days the Cafe will be open,” Wednesday’s post read. “It has been a wild run, and we have enjoyed (almost) every minute of it! However, with the constant rising of operational costs we can no longer keep chuggin’ along.” “Whether you stopped in once or were one of our regulars, we cannot thank you enough for your support these past three years. We hope you left with a full belly!” the post ended.
