Reports of shots fired near Tuttle Crossing ends with three arrested in South Linden

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Three people have been arrested Thursday morning after a shooting in northwest Columbus ends in and police pursuit in northeast Columbus.
According to Columbus police, officers were responding to reports of shots fired near The Mall at Tuttle Crossing in Dublin, prompting a police chase in South Linden, in the area of Interstate 71 South and East 17th Avenue.
Columbus Division of Police Sgt. James Fuqua said the incident began shortly before 8 a.m. at the Times Square apartment complex on Union Square Boulevard, where a witness said they saw kids breaking into vehicles.

The suspects who were reportedly in a stolen car fled the scene and drove into South Linden before getting into an accident. Police said they got into a second car, which is where the police pursuit began. Two suspects got out of the car and were tased by police near Historic Crew Stadium.
A third suspect remained in the car and got into a "fender bender" near the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Mulby Place in South Linden. The suspect was apprehended on Linden Avenue.
Sgt. James Fuqua said a firearm was recovered. It is unknown if anyone was injured after shots were allegedly fired near Dublin.
