The new Bethesda clinic includes services such as group parent training and an early intervention program designed for young children with autism, operating as a specialized preschool. The focus is on skill-building and reducing challenges that hinder learning and independence. “Our clinic is another level of service that we’re looking to help clients with, build social skills, and provide training,” Heimowitz added. With this expansion, Brighter Strides aims to reach more families in the DMV, creating opportunities for children to succeed.
