ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police are investigating a shooting on Thurston Road that sent a man to the hospital. Officers arrived at the 400 block of Thurston Road Wednesday night for a ShotSpotter activation. They found a 29-year-old man with at least one gunshot wound to his lower body. The victim was taken to the hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police are still investigating the circumstances behind the shooting and are searching for the suspect.
