ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Wednesday, two local businesses teamed up to give back to families and parents for what they called a "Women in Need" holiday drive. Good Life Collective hosted Wednesday's holiday drive. (WROC/Melanie Sosa.) Good Life Collective and Umamii, cannabis businesses in Rochester, partnered to collect diapers, formula, wipes and clothes from the community. Organizers said it can be especially difficult for parents to make ends meet during the holidays, so they wanted to give some extra love and support. All proceeds from the drive are going toward the Bethany House, an organization dedicated to helping women and children in need. "I'm a mother as well, so this fundraiser is like really true to my heart and close to me," said Jenna Reece, the social media and marketing coordinator at Umamii.
