RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman is fighting for her life after she was shot in Richmond's Southside on Wednesday. Just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 2200 block of Cheatham Street for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a woman who had been shot in a residential area. Her injuries were considered life-threatening. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
