Rain is moving in this evening, as yet another quick-moving storm passes through. A few pockets of heavier rain are possible, and we can expect around a half inch of rain. Thankfully for commuters, rain tapers off around 4 AM, leaving us with a breezy but dry commute on Thursday morning. Clouds clear out throughout Thursday morning, and we’ll have sunshine into the afternoon! Temperatures won’t be quite as warm, but still seasonable with highs in the low to mid 40s. Friday is colder, with high temperatures only in the mid to upper 30s. This is important to note, as a storm off the coast could throw some moisture our way. We will likely see some light rain and snow showers during the afternoon and evening, with some snow showers perhaps lingering into Saturday. Only a coating is expected across the area. Then, here comes the cold! Highs Saturday will barely top freezing, with wind chills Saturday night dropping into teens and single digits. Even with the sunshine on Sunday and Monday, it will still be bitter cold. Highs will only top out in the 20s, and overnights will feel like 0-5°! This can be dangerous cold, so please bundle up. Temperatures will moderate for Christmas Eve and Christmas, but there could be some light rain or snow around. Beyond that, temperatures turn mild through the end of 2024.
