(Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Dec. 18)–NextEra Energy’s proposal to build the Panama Energy solar farm that’s worth nearly $600-million on 24-hundred acres of land just east of Hallam, was recommended by the Lincoln-Lancaster County Planning Commission on a 6-0 vote Wednesday afternoon. The project now has to be approved by the County Board, which if that happens, construction on the Panama Energy solar farm would start as early as December 2026.
