Man arrested following November shots fired incident near UK campus

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A suspect has been arrested in connection to a shots-fired incident that took place on South Upper Street in early November.
On November 3, around 1:00 a.m., Lexington Police were sent to the 500 block of S. Upper Street following reports of gunfire. When officers got there, they say they found shell casings and multiple vehicles that had been struck by bullets.
Tuesday, Davontay Jones, 21, was arrested in connection to the incident. He is charged with five counts of Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and one count of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (Discharge of a Firearm).
Investigators are continuing to work on the case and are encouraging anyone with information to contact Lexington Police at (859) 258-3600.
