LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Redshirt sophomore middle blocker Lizzie Carr is coming to Kentucky volleyball from Purdue. Lizzie is the younger sister of Kentucky men’s basketball player Andrew Carr. At Purdue, Carr averaged 1.52 kills and 0.63 blocks per set. Last season in West Lafayette, her team made it to the NCAA Regional semifinals in Louisville with a 27-7 record overall. “Lizzie is an extremely motivated person who matches the personality of our program and will be a great fit for Kentucky Volleyball,” said Head Coach Craig Skinner. “She is an exciting addition to our program who has the ability to impact the game at the net like few people can.” Carr will join the Cats in the fall of 2025 and start her time on campus next semester.
