GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A trio of Packers players spread the holiday spirit at Bellin Hospital on Wednesday, greeting patients and staff in the lobby. Linebacker Chris Brooks, offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins and cornerback Eric Stokes lined up near the fireplace in the lobby, providing some holiday memories to remember to those in attendance. NFL Representatives talk 2025 Draft preparations and what it means to have Green Bay as host city Jenkins talked about how it meant a lot to him as a child when people would come out and spend time with the community, which in turn made this special for him. "I was once that child in the community and when people came back to my hometown, it meant a lot to me," Jenkins said. "Being here and being able to do that, I feel like it benefits the community." Jenkins added that it's about putting smiles on the faces of people, especially at a hospital. Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay begins Christmas Distribution, 6,000 children to receive various gifts "People are going through different things," Jenkins said. "Being able to put joy on their faces is something I strive to look for and do." The players got to hand out some treats and hot cocoa to those who stopped by to spend a little bit of time with their beloved Packers players.
