  COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– One of the Midlands busiest roads got a face lift. On Wednesday morning, December 18, Richland County officials unveiled the new look on Alpine Road. The Penny Tax funded project includes new sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, and painted crosswalks. Officials say the project will benefit all of Northeast Richland County.
