(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo) — The Manitou Springs Police Department (MSPD) is continuing to investigate what they call a series of graffiti vandalism incidents that have occurred across the city.
MSPD said the vandals remain at large and have caused over $20,000 in damages to public and private property. The vandalism is also causing safety concerns as some traffic signs have been defaced, impeding visibility and putting drivers and pedestrians at risk.
The public is being asked to help identify those responsible for the graffiti. Homeowners are encouraged to check personal security cameras, including doorbell cameras for any footage that may capture the alleged vandals or their activities.

MSPD said any information, no matter how small, could be critical to the investigation. If you see graffiti, you are asked to take pictures of the damage and provide them to the police. Police are also asking for direct reporting of graffiti to MSPD Dispatch at (719) 390-5555, do not report incidents through SeeClickFix, as direct reporting will help expedite the investigation.
"We are seeking the community’s help to put a stop to these costly acts of vandalism. Together, we can hold the perpetrators accountable and protect our city. The MSPD is calling on all residents to work together to address this issue. Your cooperation and vigilance are vital in maintaining the safety and integrity of our community," writes MSPD.
