Wanted man charged after burglary at Harvey Austin Elementary

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A wanted Buffalo man with 17 warrants for his arrest was charged Tuesday following an alleged burglary at Harvey Austin Elementary School earlier this month, Buffalo police announced.
Officers responded to an alarm going off at the Sycamore Street school around 1:10 a.m. Dec. 5. Upon arrival, police found a damaged alarm sensor and eventually learned from staff that four iPads, a laptop and other items were stolen.
Larry White, 26, was apprehended on the first block of Hazel without incident.
White was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree grand larceny. He is wanted out of Buffalo, Lockport, Amherst, Cheektowaga, Clarence and West Seneca.
