BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A motorcyclist suffered major injuries after a nasty crash involving another car in south Bakersfield Tuesday night. According to BPD, the two-vehicle crash happened on Wilson Road, east of Wible Road, just after 6 p.m. ‘IgniteHer’ seeking volunteer presenters for inaugural STEM conference for girls The rider was headed east on Wilson Rd. when the driver of a Kia sedan turned in front of him. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with major injuries. His condition was not immediately known. The driver of the sedan was not injured and is cooperating with police investigators. Officials don't believe impairment was a factor in the crash. Any witnesses to the crash are urged to call BPD at 661-327-7111.
