AUSTIN (KXAN) — A burnt orange National Championship? That's the dream for the Texas Longhorns as they take on the Clemson Tigers in their journey through the College Football Playoff. The University of Texas at Austin will host Clemson on Saturday at Darrel K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m. As Longhorns and Tigers fans flock DKR, there will be plenty of traffic before and after the game — and road closures in effect in and around the stadium. If the Longhorns win Saturday, they'll head to the quarterfinals and play against Big 12 Champion Arizona State University in the Peach Bowl, slated for Jan. 1 in Atlanta. The below map details all the planned closures as part of the College Football Playoff matchup. Parking near UT on game day The Texas Facilities Commission outlined available game day parking on state property for Saturday's game. Those included reserved lots, first-come, first-served lots, RV and oversized vehicle parking and public parking access in state garages. ADA-compliant parking is offered in public parking garages open on game days, per UT. Special accommodation parking isn’t designated as ADA-compliant; however, UT officials said it does provide parking closer to the venue that could assist some attendees. Any Longhorn Foundation members needing ADA-compliant parking can use their Longhorn Foundation parking permit and state-issued places or placards to park in an ADA-compliant space, per UT. However, officials said those spots need to be where the permit is valid and accepted. Special accommodations parking is available for $50 on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those spots open up at 7 a.m. on game days and are available at: Trinity Street near DeLoss Dodds Way — Dedman & Dean Keeton checkpoint Lot 118 — south of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between Red River Street and Interstate 35 Frontage Road Those with ADA credentials can use the Robert Dedman Drive at Dean Keeton checkpoint for entry access. CapMetro said its services near UT’s campus will be impacted on UT football’s home game days. There will be detours in place along San Jacinto Boulevard on game days, in addition to disrupted services the evening before. More details on route impacts on home game days are available online.
