Expect mainly cloudy skies this evening and into the overnight, with lows dropping to the upper 20s with snow flurries possible late toward daybreak. Snow flurries will be around for a few hours on Thursday morning, otherwise, clouds will be the rule. Temps will slowly climb on Thursday and only top out in the middle to near upper 30s. Thursday night into Friday another system will approach our area, and it does appear some wet snow showers will be around for Friday. During the peak heating from late morning to mid afternoon we could have some cold rain showers mixed in as well. Overall, total snowfall accumulations will be under an inch. Slightly greater than 1" totals will be possible closer to US-30 to the north and northwest. Highs on Friday will struggle into the upper 30s. Behind this system, skies will start to clear for the weekend, with colder air moving in, with highs near 30 on Saturday. Temps will fall into the 20s Saturday evening for the Buckeyes game, with wind chills in the teens. Sunday will be an equally bright, and cold day, with highs near 30. We will start again in the mid to upper teens on Monday, and get highs back to the upper 30s during the day with clouds increasing late. Tuesday, expect scattered showers, especially later in the day, with highs in the lower 40s. For Christmas Day Wednesday, expect more rain showers in the area, and temps a few degrees above normal in the middle 40s. -Dave
