RANDOLPH, Mass. (WWLP) - A man planning his wedding is a new million-dollar winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery. In a news release from the Massachusetts Lottery on Monday, Sean Galvez of Randolph bought a “$1,000,000 Monopoly Doubler” winning ticket at the V&D Variety Store on River St. in Hyde Park. Chicopee City Council approves new truck stop, travel center Sean received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes and the store will be given a $10,000 bonus for the sale of the ticket. Sean said he plans to spend some of his winnings on buying a house and on his upcoming wedding. The “$1,000,000 Monopoly Doubler” is a $5 instant ticket that has one remaining $1 million prize.
