MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) - Police have identified a Midwest City homicide victim as authorities investigate three homicides in Oklahoma. According to the Midwest City Police Department, officers responded to a home near Locust lane early Wednesday morning as a request from the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, they found 62-year-old Annie Brown dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Officials say 42-year-old Richard Chambers had been living in the backyard of Brown’s residence and took her car. The vehicle was found several hours later at the scene of a homicide in Pontotoc County. According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Chambers was taken into custody Wednesday morning near Ada regarding the homicides. No more information is available at this time.
