ELLSWORTH, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Wisconsin say one man was arrested after multiple vehicles were reported to have been damaged over the weekend. According to a release from the Ellsworth Police Department, officers, along with deputies from the Pierce County Sheriff's Office, received reports over the weekend of multiple cars being damaged after being hit by an object. Officials say they investigated the reports of the damaged vehicles, identified a suspect, and confiscated the object that caused the damages. Wisconsin man sentenced to two years in prison for $2.5M investment fraud scheme Initially, there were reports of someone possibly shooting at the vehicles, police say that no firearms were used in these incidents and there is no immediate danger to the community. On Monday, at 5:15 p.m., Ellsworth officers arrested Ellsworth resident Jeffrey Baker on charges related to the damaged vehicles. An investigation into these incidents remains ongoing and anyone who may be a victim is asked to contact the Ellsworth Police Department or the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.
