CHARLOTTE (CSL)— The Panthers injury problems on defense continued to mount with two more linebackers going on injured reserve Tuesday.
The Panthers placed linebackers Trevin Wallace and Claudin Cherelus on injured reserve, which shuts them down for the rest of the season. Wallace is suffering from a shoulder injury and Cherelus is suffering from a foot injury. Wallace, a 3rd round pick out of Kentucky, had been filling in for the injured Shaq Thompson.
Carolina (3-11) is back in action on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium hosting the Arizona Cardinals (1 p.m., Fox Charlotte).
