FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Wednesday afternoon!
It has been a rainy & gloomy start to the day. We are seeing drier skies towards the end of today, but it will take some time to get rid of the clouds. However, the trend towards drier weather won't last too long!
The system that is bringing in all of this moisture will continue to push towards the east, taking a lot of the rain along with it. By the late afternoon/early evening, a few isolated showers will be leftover. Towards tonight, skies will be mostly dry, but cloudy.
Temperatures will begin to cool for the remainder of the work week. We're dropping into the mid to upper 30s going into Friday. Skies are dry, but still cloudy for Thursday. Our next system will swing in from the northwest just in time for the end of the work week.
Another low pressure center will bring in better chances for a wintry mix for Friday. At times, we could see snow showers across the board. Total's don't look too impressive. Most of us will land with less than half of an inch. But, isolated totals that are closer to an inch aren't out of the question.
For the weekend, we're drier and clearer, but colder and windier. When the Buckeyes return to Ohio Stadium, temperatures will be falling through the 20s with a wind chill making it feel more like the teens.
Next week will see some more seasonable weather return with a few showers pushing back in by Tuesday.
