HARTFORD, CT. (WWLP) - The man charged in a hit-and-run that killed a Connecticut State Police trooper was in court on Tuesday.
Funeral arrangements set for Connecticut State Trooper Aaron Pelletier
Alex Oyola-Sanchez, 44, faces multiple charges, including second-degree manslaughter, operating under the influence, and failure to move over. He is accused of hitting and killing Connecticut State Trooper Aaron Pelletier on I-84 in Southington back in May.
Pelletier was a nine-year veteran with the Connecticut State Police. He was hit and killed by a car during a traffic stop. He was working overtime and had pulled a driver over who was not wearing a seat belt as part of a grant to reduce deadly crashes.
The judge continued the case to February.
