MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A stolen ambulance hit a Memphis Police squad car early Wednesday morning after a chase in the South Memphis area.
According to officers, the stolen ambulance call came in just before 4:50 a.m.
WREG crews on the scene captured video footage of the ambulance crashing into an MPD squad car in an attempt to flee on the corner of Crump Boulevard and Third Street.
MPD says the driver has been detained and no officers were injured.
This is still an ongoing investigation.
