LOS BANOS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A bicyclist was arrested Tuesday afternoon after being caught cycling around Los Banos with thousands of fentanyl pills, the Los Banos Police Department said. Officers say their Gang Unit conducted a bicycle stop at 13th Street and Pacheco Boulevard just west of Highway 165 around 12:45 p.m. According to police, the bicyclist, 31-year-old Juan Borquez, was carrying approximately 3,500 fentanyl pills. Police say he also had multiple active arrest warrants. Officers say Borquez was arrested without incident and booked into the Los Banos City Jail on multiple narcotic-related charges where he is being held in lieu of a $30,000 bail.
