(KRON) -- One person was found dead inside a Forestville home that was ravaged by a fire on Tuesday, the Sonoma County Fire District said.
The fire happened at a two-story home on the 10000 block of Woodside Drive just before 2 p.m. The victim was found dead inside.
The fire department described the home as a "two-story, older summer cabin-style home in a heavily wooded area." The home was fully engulfed by the time fire crews arrived.
When crews arrived, they found downed power lines around the home, SCFD said. The fire was contained to the home before it could spread to vegetation.
Fire investigators stayed at the scene throughout Tuesday to discover the cause of the fire. Anyone with information is asked to call (707) 565-3941.
