SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Mason Square neighborhood of Springfield is shining a little more bright Tuesday evening for the holidays. Wesley United Methodist Church hosted the Springfield community for a holiday tree-lighting ceremony. Springfield city officials joined in on the holiday cheer---to see the large tree in front of the church light up. Once it was officially lit, people there sang 'Joy to the world' as they proudly celebrated this special moment together.
