CHAVES COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Police say 21-year-old Alexis Saenz is behind bars Tuesday night after police say she removed her ankle monitor and failed to show up for court over two months ago. Saenz is accused of killing her 19-year-old girlfriend with her car last year. Man accused of deadly shooting at mobile home park in Alamogordo Saenz and her girlfriend, Adeja Baca, were involved in a domestic dispute while inside the car. When Baca tried to leave, police say Saenz floored on the gas, throwing Baca on the pavement and killing her. Saenz is behind bars at the Chaves County Detention Center.
