One person hurt after train strikes truck in Canadian County

CANADIAN COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — One person was injured after a train struck a pickup truck in Canadian County just west of Yukon on Tuesday evening.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the driver of the truck attempted to beat the train across the tracks near SH 66 and Banner Road.
The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash.
