Three wounded in Lower Garden District shooting: NOPD

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a shooting that left three people wounded in the Lower Garden District on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
The NOPD reported that two men and an unidentified person were shot in the 1900 block of St. Thomas Street around 3:34 p.m.

NOPD officials said one man was shot in his arm, another man was shot in his leg and the unidentified person was shot in their hand.

Two victims were taken to a hospital by EMS, and the third victim arrived at a hospital in a private car.
The NOPD did not release additional information.
