(KRON) -- A 58-year-old suspect accused of sexually assaulting two women and assaulting a man after breaking into a San Jose home in October was arrested last week, the San Jose Police Department announced Tuesday. Police responded to a report of the South University neighborhood home invasion at 1:45 a.m. on Oct. 2. The suspect, later identified as Juan Jordan, 58, of Santa Clara, allegedly broke into the home on the 700 block of South Ninth Street and brandished a firearm at the three victims. After Jordan bound the women and the man, he assaulted and threatened to kill the man, police said. The two women were sexually assaulted by the suspect. Unregistered gun, dagger uncovered in San Jose traffic stop Before fleeing the home, Jordan allegedly stole cash and personal belongings. SJPD Robbery Unit detectives identified Jordan as the suspect in the home invasion after an investigation, authorities said. An arrest warrant for Jordan and a search warrant for his residence were obtained. Jordan was arrested in San Jose on Dec. 10 with the assistance of SJPD’s Covert Response Unit. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Mail Jail for sexual assault, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery and burglary.
