AUGUSTA, Kan. (KSNW) -- An employee of the Augusta School District in Butler County has been arrested and accused of sexually assaulting a child. The Augusta Department of Public Safety says it was notified shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday by a school administrator. Investigators were given a video that reportedly showed an employee sexually assaulting a child on a school bus. The video was from Monday. The man was taken into custody at a district facility that was not a school building. Skeletal remains found in the Oaklawn area He has been booked into the Butler County Jail on a charge of indecent liberties with a child. Authorities believe, at the moment, it was an isolated incident. No other children were present at the time of the assault, and they are not aware of any other victims. However, the case is still under investigation. Formal charges against the man are still pending.
