HAMILTON — Several hundred guests enjoyed hot chocolate, exhausted Santa Claus’ knees during photo ops, and received gifts during the Holiday Celebration on East Franklin Street. Three organizations that operate inside the former Homedell School building — CampFire NJ, Big Brothers Big Sisters Mercer County, and JRH Foundation of the Arts — produced a fun event that included craft making inside a packed downstairs room. “Our holiday celebration on East Franklin Street is an opportunity for our community to come together and feel the true magic and joy of the holidays,” Jessica Nitti, Camp Fire NJ executive director. I love seeing how the children’s faces light up when they see Santa and the smiles from their families. We are so appreciative of our collaboration with the JRH Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County which allows us to reach even more families.” The event distributed hundreds of gifts to children during a three-hour event.
